The Bespoke Life is a locally operated business founded by colleagues Daisy and Vicky.

Having worked together in a social setting, Daisy and Vicky aim to provide a similar service to that which between them they have successfully provided for over 15 years, but with a vision to tailor the service to individuals at home.

Many of the clients that Daisy and Vicky had worked with, did not want, nor require the services of a care company or setting. The colleagues identified that a service similar to that of a ‘personal assistant’ with aspects of a ‘befriender’ was preferred.

Their vision was to give their clients who live at home, the quality one to one time, attention and support which can be so easily overlooked in today’s busy world. Daisy and Vicky wanted to provide families with peace of mind and reassurance that they are there when families may not be able to.

The Bespoke Life offers a tailor-made service chosen by you.

Our mission statement

Meet our team

Vicky Weaver, The Bespoke Life
Managing Partner

My role within The Bespoke Life is the day - to- day management of our office and ensuring our high standards are met. You will most likely find me on the telephone to one of our clients whilst sipping a coffee or carrying out risk assessments with my sparkly clipboard!

I was in my previous setting for 9 years. Initially as part-time administrator, I quickly progressed to Co-Ordinator, and then to Deputy Manager. I was lucky enough to be promoted to Manager where I led the team for 5 years. During this time, as well as achieving my management Level 5 qualification, alongside many other training certifications, I grew the business with it going from strength to strength.

Outside of The Bespoke Life, indulging in eating out, a girls spa day, going to the gym and running are my favourite pastimes, but most importantly, I enjoy spending time with my beautiful daughter.

Daisy Mahoney, The Bespoke Life
Managing Partner

I am responsible for overseeing the Companion team and ensuring that we provide a person-centred, quality service; something that I am extremely passionate about. With the knowledge I’ve gathered over the years, I’ve developed a real love for the industry.

Having achieved my Diploma in Health & Social Care, I have worked in numerous well-being settings for my entire professional life. During these years, I have lead staff teams, gained a wealth of knowledge & experience and pride myself on delivering excellent service.

During my down time, I love spending time with my family and friends, if this is on a holiday in Greece, even better! I am most relaxed when at the salon getting my beauty treatments - As they say 'keep your lashes long and your standards high!'

As a companion working for the Bespoke Life, I have really enjoyed getting to know my clients. I consider it a privilege to be able to spend time with each person, building trust and a friendship along the way! It is important to me that each individual gets the best out of their time, so my aim is always to make sure we have fun doing whatever it is they have decided to do that day. Seeing my clients smiling and happy when I leave, lets me know that I have done the job that I came to do.

I have worked with health & social care for twelve years, supporting people with a variety of needs. I have always enjoyed giving my time to others and helping those that need it. I find it very rewarding and have met and worked alongside some lovely people. The work is so varied, and no day is ever the same, which makes it both interesting and fun.

In my downtime, I enjoy spending time with my family and socialising with friends. I love going to music concerts and listening to vinyl. I am an active person and teach dance most of the week to adults. I have a lot of energy and find it hard to keep still! I love being outdoors, camping, gardening, and spending summers on the beach in the UK or abroad, I love to travel too!

After spending my entire working career of 35 years in financial services, I decided I wanted to do something more meaningful and valuable and, therefore, I joined the health and social care profession in 2022.

After two years as a Care Support Worker, I joined the Bespoke Life as a Companion. This is a role I thoroughly enjoy, as it involves all the aspects I love of being a Care Support Worker – getting to spend quality time with people, learning about their interests and passions, and supporting them to live their fullest life!

Alongside being a Companion at Bespoke Life, I also work for an Insurance Broker in Cheltenham on a part-time basis.

I am married with one stepdaughter and two grandchildren, not forgetting our pet cat! My main hobby is sport, and I am a passionate season ticket holder at Liverpool. I enjoy eating out, reading and socialising. I also enjoy holidaying, both in the UK and abroad.

Having worked in Local Government and the Civil Service for 15 years, I took a career break to raise my children. During this time, I volunteered at an MS Therapy Centre which inspired me greatly. I relocated from Somerset to Gloucestershire and was employed by several local charities supporting adults with a range of disabilities. More recently I worked in a social care setting, focusing on the wellbeing of older adults by way of therapeutic and engaging activities.

Working for The Bespoke Life as a Companion enables me to get to know my clients on a one-to-one basis and for us to build a good rapport. We have quality time to chat and connect, and this enables me to ascertain what matters most to the individual on the day I visit. I have a person-centered approach and a genuine wish for each person to get the most out of my visit and the time we spend together. It is a pleasure to accompany my clients, helping them to maintain and increase their independence and wellbeing, doing things that they enjoy and on their own terms. I do believe that it’s the little things that count and, when added together, small acts of kindness, thought and deed can create a big difference.

I am married with two children and a little white Terrier called Merlin. I spend lots of my spare time outside and I’m passionate about gardening and encouraging wildlife into the garden. In good weather I love to BBQ with my friends and family. On cold frosty days I enjoy crisp winter dog walks and country pub stops along the way. I also enjoy yoga, eating out, concerts and holidays.

Thank you for doing a wonderful job visiting my dad over the last few weeks. I have booked in more visits for him over the summer.

Mr F, Cheltenham

Since The Bespoke Life companions have been visiting, my parents have now expressed a wish to get out and about. It is great that their confidence is building again.

Mrs D, Cheltenham

Many thanks for the support and friendship they have offered my parents. It has been lovely to see our companion and to see how good she is at helping them.

Mrs H, Hatherley

I appreciate the home help that was provided during my companion visits. The Bespoke life’s flexibility of matching the bookings to the times and dates needed was second to none.
