The Bespoke Life is a locally operated business founded by colleagues Daisy and Vicky.

Having worked together in a social setting, Daisy and Vicky aim to provide a similar service to that which between them they have successfully provided for over 15 years, but with a vision to tailor the service to individuals at home.

Many of the clients that Daisy and Vicky had worked with, did not want, nor require the services of a care company or setting. The colleagues identified that a service similar to that of a ‘personal assistant’ with aspects of a ‘befriender’ was preferred.

Their vision was to give their clients who live at home, the quality one to one time, attention and support which can be so easily overlooked in today’s busy world. Daisy and Vicky wanted to provide families with peace of mind and reassurance that they are there when families may not be able to.

The Bespoke Life offers a tailor-made service chosen by you.

Our mission statement

Friendship is the core foundation on which our business is built upon. Providing companionship and quality time to our clients, from the comfort of their home.

Meet our team

Vicky Weaver, The Bespoke Life
Managing Partner

My role within The Bespoke Life is the day - to- day management of our office and ensuring our high standards are met. You will most likely find me on the telephone to one of our clients whilst sipping a coffee or carrying out risk assessments with my sparkly clipboard!

I was in my previous setting for 9 years. Initially as part-time administrator, I quickly progressed to Co-Ordinator, and then to Deputy Manager. I was lucky enough to be promoted to Manager where I led the team for 5 years. During this time, as well as achieving my management Level 5 qualification, alongside many other training certifications, I grew the business with it going from strength to strength.

Outside of The Bespoke Life, indulging in eating out, a girls spa day, going to the gym and running are my favourite pastimes, but most importantly, I enjoy spending time with my beautiful daughter.

Daisy Mahoney, The Bespoke Life
Managing Partner

I am responsible for overseeing the Companion team and ensuring that we provide a person-centred, quality service; something that I am extremely passionate about. With the knowledge I’ve gathered over the years, I’ve developed a real love for the industry.

Having achieved my Diploma in Health & Social Care, I have worked in numerous well-being settings for my entire professional life. During these years, I have lead staff teams, gained a wealth of knowledge & experience and pride myself on delivering excellent service.

During my down time, I love spending time with my family and friends, if this is on a holiday in Greece, even better! I am most relaxed when at the salon getting my beauty treatments - As they say 'keep your lashes long and your standards high!'

t is a privilege to work with such a fantastic team and all our wonderful clients. I look forward to spending quality time with each person during my visits. We can go from having deep conversations to a cheeky giggle in the space of a few hours. It's an absolute pleasure and very rewarding.

In addition to working with The Bespoke Life, I work as a private life coach and I am also building a property portfolio with my husband and children. In my spare time I love to spend time with my family and friends. I have a wonderful husband and 3 amazing children that I am so proud of and enjoy spending time with. I also have a beautiful cavapoo called Ronnie who makes me smile just looking at his little face.

I enjoy walking, reading (mostly personal development books), meditation, breathwork, and travel which I hope to do plenty more of in the years to come. I'll always keep time to visit my TBL clients though!

Beth Garthwaite, The Bespoke Life

As a Companion, I enjoy spending quality time with my clients and ensuring that they benefit from, as well as enjoy their time with me. I believe that I work above and beyond to provide my clients with a meaningful day, promoting their independence.

I've been a dedicated and conscientious team member of both the private and public health and social sector with over 8 year experience. I also have Health & Social care qualifications. I have worked with a variety of people with different support needs, ranging from basic day to day activities to complex care. I aim to build a trusting relationship with those who I support by providing a person centred service.

I enjoy spending time with my daughter on days out and travelling to Bournemouth with my family. I'm a firm believer in retail therapy so, you can always catch me on a shopping spree!

As a companion working for the Bespoke Life, I have really enjoyed getting to know my clients. I consider it a privilege to be able to spend time with each person, building trust and a friendship along the way! It is important to me that each individual gets the best out of their time, so my aim is always to make sure we have fun doing whatever it is they have decided to do that day. Seeing my clients smiling and happy when I leave, lets me know that I have done the job that I came to do.

I have worked with health & social care for twelve years, supporting people with a variety of needs. I have always enjoyed giving my time to others and helping those that need it. I find it very rewarding and have met and worked alongside some lovely people. The work is so varied, and no day is ever the same, which makes it both interesting and fun.

In my downtime, I enjoy spending time with my family and socialising with friends. I love going to music concerts and listening to vinyl. I am an active person and teach dance most of the week to adults. I have a lot of energy and find it hard to keep still! I love being outdoors, camping, gardening, and spending summers on the beach in the UK or abroad, I love to travel too!

Mandy, The Bespoke Life

As a companion for The Bespoke Life, I thoroughly enjoy the time I get to spend with our clients, they have become friends that I genuinely care about. I look forward to making each visit meaningful and spending quality time with them.

Having spent nearly 20 years as team leader in a fast-paced office, I took a career change to a more rewarding role where I could support others. I spent several years within domiciliary care, where I completed essential training.

My passion in my free time is anything D.I.Y and renovating houses. I have worked on many houses over the years, not only for me but for friends too – I really relish working hard and then seeing the result!

When I’m not knocking down walls, I like to horse ride or have family days out with my partner, 2 daughters and granddaughter. I also love a good sunshine holiday!

Did you know our team are trained in:

  • Equality and Diversity
  • Health and Safety and Risk Assessments
  • Safeguarding Adults

Thank you for doing a wonderful job visiting my dad over the last few weeks. I have booked in more visits for him over the summer.

Mr F, Cheltenham

Since The Bespoke Life companions have been visiting, my parents have now expressed a wish to get out and about. It is great that their confidence is building again.

Mrs D, Cheltenham

Many thanks for the support and friendship they have offered my parents. It has been lovely to see our companion and to see how good she is at helping them.

Mrs H, Hatherley

I appreciate the home help that was provided during my companion visits. The Bespoke life’s flexibility of matching the bookings to the times and dates needed was second to none.
