What is companionship support?
Companionship care is a personalised form of support that focuses on friendship, conversation, and social connection. Unlike personal care services, it prioritises emotional wellbeing, meaningful interaction, and shared experiences, helping people stay active, engaged, and connected while enjoying a better quality of life.
Are your companions trained and background checked?
Yes. All of our companions undergo a recruitment process and hold an enhanced DBS check. They are carefully selected for their experience, compassion, and ability to provide high-quality support.
In addition, all companions receive comprehensive training and are required to provide employment and character references before joining. This ensures we can offer safe, professional, and trustworthy support to every client and their family.
What's the difference between companionship support and home care?
We know how important it is to find the right support for yourself or a loved one. While traditional home care often focuses on personal care tasks such as assisting with washing, dressing, and medication administration, companionship support is centred around social connection, emotional wellbeing, and maintaining an active, fulfilling lifestyle.
Our companions provide friendship, conversation, encouragement, and practical support with everyday activities. This can include accompanying clients to appointments, shopping trips, and social outings, helping with meal preparation, providing medication prompts, supporting hobbies and interests, and assisting with light household tasks. Whether it’s enjoying a favourite activity or simply having someone to spend time with, our focus is on helping people feel supported, connected, and engaged.
For many people, companionship support offers the reassurance, independence, and meaningful social interaction needed to continue enjoying life with confidence while remaining connected to the people, places, and activities they love.
What is a Companionship Package?
We offer a range of thoughtfully designed experience support packages, each created to make life easier while helping people stay active, independent, and connected to the things they enjoy most.
Our packages include:
- Companionship & Befriending
- Dementia Support
- Returning Home Support
- Care Home Companionship

- Staying Active
Each package has been carefully developed to provide the right level of support, companionship, and practical assistance, while remaining flexible enough to be tailored to your individual needs, preferences, and goals.
If you’re not sure which package is right for you or your loved one, our team will be happy to help you explore the options and find the best fit.
